The working methodology developed by the artists in their most recent works is based on the transposition of scientific tools and procedures into the field of art.

Their practice revolves around issues fundamental to the development of contemporary societies, such as the planet’s environmental health, the balance of social structures, movement, and the multifaceted dynamics of human beings, among others. In this context, statistics play a decisive role in their research. On numerous occasions, the starting point for the works is a preexisting statistical source; however, in their most recent projects, the artists have incorporated fieldwork as a research methodology, generating their own data through direct observation. These statistics not only constitute the conceptual basis of the works but also determine their formal configuration.

An overview of their body of work reveals the unique way in which they conceive each project: as a landscape, understood in the sense proposed by the theorist Rosalind Krauss when she developed the concept of sculpture in the expanded field. From this perspective, their landscapes take the form of exercises in total cartography, in which the documentation and recording—both physical and symbolic—of specific biopsychosocial phenomena predominate.
