The artist intervenes in a group of canvases found by chance. He cuts and dismembers them, connects one piece with another and draws a new scenario on the physical remains that had previously been autonomous "works of art". Such an exercise of cannibalism and dismemberment refers, from the material perspective of the works, to the endogamic and intertextual dimension of art as a sociocultural process. In this case, the fragment functions as the guiding thread of an artistic genealogy that sees itself and its past. Art is born on art.
