A sua perspetiva cultural e sociol\u00f3gica permite-lhe compreender plenamente os efeitos dos processos coloniais nas na\u00e7\u00f5es que os suportaram. Estes tra\u00e7os s\u00e3o vis\u00edveis n\u00e3o s\u00f3 nas formas de marginaliza\u00e7\u00e3o e segrega\u00e7\u00e3o, mas tamb\u00e9m a n\u00edvel epist\u00e9mico e lingu\u00edstico.<\/p><p>Em reconhecimento da profundidade e relev\u00e2ncia da sua pr\u00e1tica, Diago foi selecionado como o artista que representa o Pavilh\u00e3o Nacional de Cuba na 61\u00aa Bienal de Veneza, que ter\u00e1 lugar de 9 de maio a 22 de novembro de 2026, nos Giardini e no Arsenale. Este contexto amplifica a sua explora\u00e7\u00e3o cont\u00ednua da identidade e da resist\u00eancia, situando o seu trabalho numa das plataformas mais significativas para a arte contempor\u00e2nea.
