\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLe besoin d'une arme appara\u00eet face \u00e0 la frustration de ne pas pouvoir plaire ou satisfaire l'h\u00e9ritage patriarcal.\nJ'ai v\u00e9cu en Espagne pendant quinze ans et je retourne actuellement \u00e0 La Havane, \"Adi\u00f3s Espa\u00f1a\" est un projet qui fonctionne comme un adieu. Je souhaite cr\u00e9er une image troublante, cin\u00e9matographique, ludique, presque enfantine, mais avec de multiples couches conceptuelles qui passent en revue les constructions sociales et culturelles de la masculinit\u00e9 ; l'homme fort et violent, le pourvoyeur et le p\u00e8re qui r\u00e9ussit. Mais aussi la violence passive que la politique culturelle applique aux artistes.\nLe projet se compose de six \u00e9l\u00e9ments qui, par le biais de fragments, construisent et activent un r\u00e9cit. Le c\u0153ur du projet est ma collection de reproductions d'armes personnelles de dirigeants politiques et d'acteurs hollywoodiens ; une peinture de la premi\u00e8re arme de l'histoire, celle avec laquelle Ca\u00efn a tu\u00e9 Abel ; une s\u00e9lection d'images de porte-flingues d'hommes politiques c\u00e9l\u00e8bres ; une vid\u00e9o \u00e0 trois canaux dans laquelle est racont\u00e9e la relation des patriarches de ma famille avec les armes ; et le dernier \u00e9l\u00e9ment est l'interaction du spectateur avec ma collection d'armes.
