Plano en Disolución brings together recent works by Yaima Carrazana. The artist appropriates the language of Suprematism, Minimalism, Op Art and Color Field to reflect on the value that contemporary societies give to art.
He offers us a non-relational type of painting, with a solid analytical approach, of a remarkable hermetic quality, marked by monochrome and repetition. A contemplative color space, subtly nuanced and not in need of theoretical support. A complex and demanding perceptual experience, which starts from the simplicity of a finite surface of colored particles and runs the risk of representing, in its statism and synchronous parsimony, the "drama of the Universe" in the style of Robert Delaunay.
